Summertime needlepoint designs + canvas drop

As the weather warms up, I find myself wanting a bit of a summer themed stitch. So I’m sharing with you some of the designs I’ve found (plus a few charts) which feel summery to get you in the mood.

Before we get into it - in case you missed it, I want to let you know I have a new canvas dropping Thursday 7th of May 9am EST. If you like the Palm Sunday design, you will LOVE this. It’s Noah’s Ark, an incredibly detailed scene with lots and lots of animals. This took me SO long to design so I really hope you enjoy it. Penny Linn Cane Keyfob (link here) - this is my summertime stitch for a very specific reason - it doesn’t need a huge amount of margin of canvas for finishing, so it’s a nice small size for in hand stitching (on the plane in particular!). I’ve already painted it in green and pink. I have found an interesting hardware option on Amazon (link here), I am going to test it out and will report back if it works.

Evelyn Henson Tennis Ball Drink (link here) - I just love a quirky ridiculous design and this is exactly that.

US Solo Cup - link to chart. This is my own current WIP - still waiting on the final colour for this stitch but I’m already really happy with how it is turning out. It’s a cute little US themed solo cup and it was very simple to paint.

I designed this as a fun little bag charm, and I just love the colours that I used. It’s simple, I stitched it in about an hour. I also made the cording with my new cording maker, I got the cheap one from Amazon and despite feeling VERY cheap, it does the job! You can get the cording maker I got here
